Mulleres Valley

This route is easy to access, even if there is snow. It allows you to discover an alpine valley and to reach a unique waterfall, located in a mature forest of beech and fir trees.
It is an ideal route for the whole family to enjoy a snowy itinerary, to go snowshoeing or to go on a simple outing with sledges, in a place that is easy to access and very close to the campsite. All the information in the CAMPING BALIERA.

OLD ROAD TO PONT DE SUERT (Camí del Reganxo)

Leaving the campsite by the “pipican” turn left and after crossing a small stream, leave the “borda de domingo” (cow farm) on the left hand side.
Continue straight on and turn left to zig-zag down to the path that runs parallel to the river Noguera Ribagorçana.

The village of Castarné overlooks the valley of the river Baliera (a tributary of the Noguera Ribagorzana).
We can see what is left of the castle “Castrum Negrum” (11th century), former residence of the Azcón and Oliver Counts, and the Romanesque hermitage of Nuestra Señora de Buirás (11th century).
